School is the foundation of a strong society. A school is a place that provides education, knowledge, good manners, and also creates awareness. It is an essential pillar of support and a universal place of social interaction.In that way, the following essay has been written. 1. I read in the G.L Memorial Academy. It is a private school. It has got a very good staff.

2. It is housed in an imposing  building. It has 17 class-rooms, and a big hall for holding meetings. Besides these, we have the Principal's office room, a separate room for the teachers, common room, a library and an office room. There is a large field in front of the main building. In the compound there are are freshment room , a gymnasium (PRINT) cycle-shed.

3. There are 600 students on the rolls of the school. The students are well-disciplined (), obedient (315), and respectful to their teachers.

4. The staff of the school consists of the Principal, 25 assistant teachers, a drawing-master and a physical instructor, besides clerks and menials. The Principal is well-qualified and efficient. Other teachers, too, are well-versed in their own subjects. They try hard to make their subjects easily understood by the boys. They mix freely with the students beyond school hours.

5. The boys of the school take an active part in the games and sports of the school. The sporting club of the school has won several cups and medals in the local tournaments.

6. There is a debating society in the school. Debates are held on every Saturday, Students take an active part in them. My school brings out a magazine which contains articles by students and teachers.

7. Because of its efficient staff, the school registers very brilliant results at the Board examinations. Each year a large number of boys pass in the first and second division and the percentage of failures is very low.

8. My school has got a rich library. there are a number of good books on the various subject.

9. My school differs from each school in many ways. It is a famous for good teaching and discipline. The teacher of this school love the students as their own children. It is difficult to find such teacher's in other schools. There is a good arrangement for games and sports in my school. A special features of my school is that we get refreshment in the recess.
