Safety tips for driving vehicles on road.
GENERAL SAFETY
1. Concentrate on the road.
2. Drive Defensively-develop good anticipation.
3. Avoid Highway hypnosis or Drowsiness--Take short breaks.
4. Do not follow a vehicle too closely--cross any object atleast 2 seconds after the vehicle ahead has crossed.
5. Use common sense while driving--never exceed the max-speed limit and drive as per flow of traffic.
6. Do not use cell phone while driving.

WINTER DRIVING
1. Plan your winter driving. Equip well with blankets, food and other survival equipment.

3. Remove snow and ice from your vehicle. Defrost your windshield before starting.
4. Avoid driving in foggy weather. Drive slowly, stay within the limits of your vision, use headlights.
5. If fog is too dense, pull off the road and stop. Do not drive.
NIGHT DRIVING
1. Drive with caution--things appear differently than in daylight.
2. Always keep headlights cleaned and aimed properly.
3. Do not use any light inside the vehicle.
4. Use edge lines and centre line of road as guides.

1. Follow standard vehicle checks provided by your vehicle manufacturer regularly.
